Game Started off great with everyone making tackles and putting lots of pressure on the opposition which lead to them making several mistakes. For most of the first half the game was played in the middle of the pitch with players from both sides making breaks but being knocked back in the tackle. At the end of a tight first half the score was till 0-0.
The Second half started off well as Paul Glynn took Preston Lodge into the lead and the try was converted to make it 7-0 to PL. After about 5 minutes of good play, Leith made a break and managed to score a converted try. After the restart we managed to win the ball and gain some ground. Ross Currie got his hands on the ball and made a break but unfortunately he was caught but presented the ball well for a quick ball out to Callum Buchanan who finished well making the score 12-7. Leith got right back into the game after one of their big runners broke through the defence to make the score 12-12. Leith were on the front foot and went 5 point in front again to make the score 12-17 to Leith. The PL boys had to dig in deep and the were rewarded for their efforts when Paul Glynn scored another try to make the score 17-17. A change of kicker was also to benefit PL as Neale Gray slotted over the kick to make it 19-17 just as the final whistle blew
