Preston Lodge played well on Saturday against Ross High who had a little less experience than the Preston Lodge players. With the combination of Ross High’s inexperience and the Preston Lodge players recent good form it was going to be tough for Ross High. Preston Lodge scored 11 tries in all and everybody in the team contributed to every one of them, never giving in to the oppostion. Preston Lodge played much better than in the previous game against Dunbar with better handling and tackling in all areas of the game, even though they had some very bulky players, tackle were flying in and Preston Lodge were coming off better afterwards. Dean also slotted over some difficult kicks icluding one right on the touchline.
Preston Lodge need to improve in the rucks though, as some forwards were hesitating before going in to try and wim the ball back and by this time Ross High had already moved the ball away to their backs. Luckily this only happened a couple of times.
Overall it was a good performance with lots of good points.
