The main points from this meeting concerned an update on the implications of the efficiency savings, Columba 1400 and local twinning with Barga.

East Lothian Association of Parent Council Members

East Lothian Council recently held a meeting for representitives from each Parent Council in the Authority. The meeting was chaired by Don Ledingham and attended by Mrs Stuart and Mrs Mitchell as representitives from Preston Lodge’s Parent Council.

May Meeting

The next meeting of the PLHS Parent Council will be held in the school at 7:00-9:00pm on Thursday 15th May. The delay in this months meeting is to allow for planning for next session by staff. This will then be fedback to the Parent Council for comments.

The agenda will be posted when it becomes available.

Minutes 6th March 2008

Have a read at the minutes from the Parent council meeting on Thursday the 6th of March.

The main points of note are the implications of the up coming efficiency savings

and Mr McKay gave a very interesting report on his observations of the Columba

1400 project. More information can be found in the minutes here.

Feedback was received from the Parent Council’s working groups including: The Burns Supper, Parents Evening, Uniform and Communication groups.
