As part of our On Our Doorstep project and within the topic Ma Région, S2 pupils have prepared some powerpoints to promote East Lothian.

As part of the S1 course, pupils have been learning to talk about their school subjects.
At the end we encourage them to do a small project where they say what subjects they study, who their teachers are, what subjects they like.
Here a few examples:

Both Spanish classes went cooking in Home Economics with Mrs Hunter’s help. Beforehand they found out about Spanish Tapas.

Writing is assessed by means of a folio, consisting of 3 pieces of work produced in the course of S3 and S4. This work may be drafted and redrafted, although the final pieces must be produced under test conditions. This folio is then marked by the SQA,

Our Spanish classes have been very busy, writing short posts in Spanish telling people what there is to do in Prestonpans and in East Lothian as part of Preston Lodge High School cross-curricular project “On Our Doorstep”.
