We have recently been contacted by one of the girls from class 1A of 1943, Janet Bretta Souness (now Christie). She has kindly sent us some signed photos of the Staff and pupils from the 1940s. These include Prefects, Hockey and Rugby teams and Magazine Co.
In the 1943 photo of class 1A, Janet is the unnamed pupil beside Ruth Greenshields.
Four of the girls from Class 1A still have an annual (June) reunion in Edinburgh - others are most welcome and should contact Janet for more information, “jchristie572@btinternet.com”

Former Pupil Louise Macintyre
Louise has recently been award a 2.1 Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies with Tourism by Napier University.

Former pupil Emma Cowan (20) from Longniddry, is preparing to follow in the footsteps of David Livingstone on a charity mission in Malawi. Emma hopes to travel to Malawi in January to teach for six months. However she has to raise £2500 and is appealing for sponsors to help make the trip possible. Emma learned about the poverty in Malawi while studying sociology at Reading University.

Did you start S1 at Preston Lodge in the summer of 1992?
Did you leave at the end of S4 in June 1996, S5 in June 1997 or S6 in June 1998?
If so this reunion is for you!!
It is going to be at The Gothenburg, Prestonpns on Saturday 24th May, from 7pm until midnight.
A buffet a few drinks and a chance to catch up, £5 per person to cover the buffet and any additional costs (anything we have left over can go to charity?).
