For those studying Advanced Higher English, you will need to buy the following texts (three plays) before the start of term:

Please be sure to read (at least) The Importance of Being Earnest over the holidays, and make sure you have a copy of all three plays before August.

Our other main text will be 18 Carol Ann Duffy poems - these, however, will be provided for you.

If you intend on studying either Duffy or Wilde for your dissertation, you are able to, but will need to choose works other than these (in order to satisfy the SQA’s requirements).
