On Tuesday afternoon the P3/4 stationary shop, Pencils R Us, opened its doors to the first customers - P4. We are looking forward to selling our stationery to the other classes soon and will keep you updated on our progress.

Primaries 2/3 and 3/4 had a joint Christmas party today and we had lots of fun, dancing and playing games

P3/4 were very lucky today to have a dance session with the East Lothian dance specialist Beth Noble. As you can see from the photos we had lots of fun. Read the comments to find out what we did.

Primary 3/4 and P4 have been very busy over the last few weeks building Viking Longboats. Everyone had fun making them and enjoyed designing their own shields and sails.

P3/4 have been really busy since coming back to school last week. We have started our new Topic on the Vikings and have been learning all about the Vikings invading Scotland. Over the last four weeks on a Monday afternoon, Primary 3 have been developing their skills to work as a team. On Friday 13th Primary 3 did our assembly about Jewish weddings.

There were 4 flower girls, 2 bridesmaids and a best man. The groom pulls the veil over the bride’s face and the two mothers break a plate to show that the agreement could not be undone.

This birdfeeder was placed outside the P3 classroom so that we could find out which birds would visit us. Unfortunately some were scared away by this unwelcome guest!

In our PE lessons Mrs Jones has had us jumping all over the place! We have done

Primary 3 have been having fun with Beebots and Constructa-bots as part of their ICT work on control and modelling. They created courses for the ‘Bots which the other groups then had to find a way through by programming their own ‘Bots.
