Puppet Shows in P1/2
We worked in groups. We made puppets. We drew the backgrounds and wrote the story together. Finally we performed it to our class.

The Dragon Princess cafe

Twa Leggit Mice
P1/2 designed their own tartans and learned the poem Twa Leggit Mice which they performed at the Scottish Assembly. It was a very funny poem and lots of people laughed. The twa leggit mice were really children. The children designed their tartans using paint and drew pictures of children wearing kilts.

Don’t We Look Great!
Last Wednesday parents and friends were treated to a wonderful nativity play, ‘Born in a Barn’ performed by P1, P1/2 and P2/3 classes. The songs were incredibly catchy and the audiences were singing along. Well done to all the children who took part. Don’t we look great in our costumes?

Let’s go down to the woods……
Primary 1/2 are studyng mini-beasts and what better place to find them than n the local woods. They were helped by a parent and the local ranger. It was great fun.

Guide Dogs for the Blind

Practising our handwriting

A great start to the new term
All the children in P1/2 are settling in really well, we have already been on a minibeast hunt in the woods, started a dance programme and started to use the interactive whiteboard. It looks like it will be a busy year!
