The Dragon Princess cafe
On the 6th Feb, P1 had a healthy cafe for all our parents and carers. We voted to decide on a name, and the name with the most votes was “the Dragon Princess Cafe”. We had to choose a menu, make a shopping list and go and buy the food from the Spar shop. Then we had to send out invitations, and get the clasroom all ready. It was really good fun, and we even told the customers some jokes from our joke book. Together with P1/2 we raised £65 to donate to the British Heart Foundation.

We really enjoyed being served food in P1’s cafe. The waiters and waitresses were very good.

The children were all very excited about this project - from going to the Spar shop, writing invitations and serving on the day. They did an excellent job and it was lovely to see them enjoying themselves. Well done to all!

The cafe was fantastic, all the children did really well. The Mint yoghurt Dip was lovely and Heather has been amusing people with some of the jokes!

The cafe was very good and all the waiters and waitresses were very attentive to their customers. All the boys and girls seemed quite excited and I think this was probably the highlight of the week.
