A New Session for Nursery
A new session is underway in nursery and we would like to welcome back our new pre-schoolers and extend a warm welcome to our new children in the afternoon. Our new children are settling well into the routines of nursery and enjoy using the outdoor space and we’re all looking forward to exciting times ahead.
Our first nursery newsletter has been published and has information on some of our up and coming topics, as well as dates for your diary. We hope that our new system of pigeon holes will help ensure that all correspondence reaches everyone. Let us know what you think about this (and other aspects of nursery) in our suggestions box in the foyer.
As you can see, we like to play outdoors whenever possible, so it would be great if your child has suitable outdoor wear with them for windy or rainy days.
One of our topics this session is People Who Help Us. If anyone has a job helping people - doctor, dentist, nurse, vet, childminder etc and would be willing to come and talk to the children about it, we’d be really grateful. It’s much more meaningful for the children when they know the person concerned. Just let nursery staff know when you are available! We love volunteers!!
