First Week Back For P6
On our first week back we did a really big quiz on the Olympics. We had the laptops twice this week soo we could try and find out the answers to the thirty questions. We worked together as a class to find out all the answers from the internet. The picture questions were the hardest. As we got the answers we wrote them down and then on Wednesday we put the answers into Mr Cains computer.
On Tuesday we had our first French lesson. This was the first time we had met Mrs McBean. She was very nice. She got to know us and we made a border for our French display.
On Wednesday we were given a challenge to make a display that could hold 6 postcards. we were given some materials - card, straws, cellotape, blue tack and string. We worked in groups to make the best holders we could. Alot of us had different ideas and it was fun trying to see if the holders could carry the postcards at the end.
In PE we are learning hockey so we can play in a compition at ross high in October. Mrs Jones and Mr Cain have been showing us how to play and do the indian dribble and the hat. It has rained alot this week so we had to do the gym in the hall and not outide.
In art we made some half drawings half photos of us and added a poem about us using our names and added a target we wanted to have for P6.

I am very impressed with your postcard holders, it is great to see you all working well in your teams and coming up with very different, but all very good ideas! Well done! Your French and hockey sound really interesting, lets hope the weather gets better and the French homework isn’t too hard!!! Keep working hard!
