Fair trade talk
Yesterday, Mrs Proudler came in to talk to us about fair trade. She told us about how fair trade works and how they help people who don’t have any money to feed their family. Fair trade gives them a fair money. Mrs Proudler talked about tear craft, a company that she is a volunteer for.You may have seen one of her stores with all the lovely wood work that the people in Africa have produced. For all the hard work and talent they put into these products they would normally get a small wage, but because they work for tear craft they get a fair wage. The things you can buy from the shops that are fair trade are going to a good cause. When you buy just 1 fair trade or tear craft item you are helping farmers and craftsmen to have a better life and job. Please buy fair trade and tear craft items if you can! ![]()
