Japanese dance - P7 style
P7 entertained the rest of the school last week with performances of their Japanese dances. They have been working on them since early February and were finally ready to perform to their audience on Thursday. They were performed using mime and the puppets they had made during art. Various elements of Japanese culture were shown in the dances including chopsticks, kendo and sumo wrestling.

It was good fun performing the dances to the rest of the school and we enjoyed making the puppets.

This use of hall time was an amazing idea. The dancing was great fun and my group loved constructing and choreographing the dancing.

The dances were great fun and i hope the rest of the school enjoyed watching them. This was also a differant and fun way to learn.
