St Andrew’s Day Assembly
P2/3 presented a St Andrew’s Day Assembly to Infant classes and parents. The children shared their knowledge of St Andrew and Scottish customs, and recited a verse of ‘To a Mouse’ by Robert Burns. Our Scottish country dancers performed for us and we closed the Assembly with ‘Flower of Scotland’. A great time was had by all!

Boys and girls I really enjoyed your St Andrew’s Day assembly. I thought you had worked really hard to find out about St Andrew and all the different Scottish customs you told us about. I really liked the Scottish paintings too. Well done.
If any mums, dads, carers or friends who were at the assembly are looking at our blog please leave a comment and tell us what you thought. I’m sure the children will be delighted to hear from you.
