X Factor…here we come!
Today was the day Pencaitland have been eagerly awaiting for weeks! The gym hall was turned into a professional recording studio and the whole school took part in recording our first ever Christmas CD. Each class was involved in singing and there was even a staff choir! Musical renditions from the P5 recorder group and the P6/7 brass ensemble complimented the singing well. The CD is now in the process of being edited and created. It may not make the top ten, but it is available to buy from the school!
Miss MacDonald, our music teacher, organised the day helped by an able team of P6 and P7 helpers who were all given very technical roles. They worked very hard all day making sure everyone was where they were meant to be and ensured the proceedings ran smoothly. We all vote the day a huge success and can’t wait until we can see and hear our very own CD!

the CD was a brilliant idea and I’m glad it pulled of! The man who was recording us was absolutely hilarious!

My family and I really enjoyed the CD and we played it to all our relatives too - both the pupil and staff choirs were very good!
