If you go down to the woods today …..
Lesson 11 - 31/05/07
Well, today was our last lesson in our processes of life topic. We started off by reviewing our blog to remind ourselves what we had learned since Easter. Thanks to everyone who left comments (especially the photos of snails left by Mr McIntosh) - it really spurred us on to find out even more !
After this we went out into the woods again to look at flowers and we got to sketch our favourites. It was good to get out the class again and explore among the trees and bushes. When we came back to class we discussed all the different parts of flowers we had seen (or knew about) - petals, leaves, roots, buds, stem, leaf veins etc. Photos of our afternoon out of class are below :
