P5 Explore Edinburgh
P5 went on two school trips recently, Hollyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh Castle was very interesting with all the armour and weapons. We enjoyed our visit into a private room where we got to try on the armour and have a shot of a rapier (a type of sword). P5 trip to Hollyrood and Edinburgh Castle

On the 10th of May 2007 P5 went on a trip to Hollyrood and Edinburgh castle . We went to the castle first where we were taught about Mary Queen of Scots time at the castle. We went past the cannons and the half moon battery. In the education room (only school groups get to go in) we got to handle some old weapons and a few clothes. Finally we had lunch in the same room. After lunch we had some fun in Hollyrood Park and we played football.
