P3’s Church Visit
Today we were very lucky and Mr Malcolm agreed to show us round the local church as part of our RME study on “Special Places”. We went to the Carriage House first where he showed us a part of a video which explained how churchs were formed thousands of years ago. Then Mr Malcolm took us into the church and explained what happens in the church and what all the different parts of the church are called and used for. We then had a treasure hunt to complete, which took us all over the church, finding clues, and trying to unravel a code to reveal a secret message. It was great fun. After that we went back to watch the last part of the video and got juice and a biscuit too ! What a great morning - thanks again Mr Malcolm.
