Processes of Life
Lesson 1 - 23/4/2007
We started our new science topic today. We are going to be learning all about ‘Processes of Life’. We will be able to name and identify the main parts of humans, plants and animals, how we use our senses and recognise the stages in life cycles of humans, plants and animals.
To begin with we made a big table. This showed everything we already knew about this topic, questions we wanted to find answers to, and where we are likely to find those answers. Next we played some fun games to help us learn about parts of the human body. You can see photos of us playing Simon Says, singing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and playing a game of Beetle (with human parts instead of beetles) in the photos below.

Finally, in groups, we had to come up with as many names of animal body parts as we could. Between us all we managed to name loads and it made completing the worksheet easy !
I really tried hard in Simon Says. Johnny
Our class knew lots already about animals and plants. Ellie
