Karate Trial
We had an opportunity to try out Karate. Louise was able to give us some useful tips as she has been learning karate at Preston Lodge.

Water sports at the lagoons
On Wednesday the 3rd of September Primary 6s went to Musselburgh Lagoons for water sports. There were three teams, one was sailing, one was canoeing and one was kayaking. We all had a fantastic time and got to jump in at the end.

Class Jewels Reward Time
On Tuesday the 9th of September Primary 6s became the weekly champions of the class jewels. For a reward we all went outside to bounce on the space hoppers.

Welcome to P6s
Welcome to Primary Six and I hope that we have a successful year together.
I would be very grateful if you could remember some important details that will ensure a smooth-running and happy classroom.
On the Monday of each week Maths homework will be sent home - this task should be completed independently.
On Tuesdays there will be a Language task to practise classroom work, parent/ carer assistance may be needed during this activity.
Every fortnight a learning log sheet will be brought home. This can be a great opportunity to think about personal learning and discuss the school week in your home.
A PE Kit is required on Wednesdays, and a large, old tee-shirt left in school is ideal for messy art work.
