Just to let you know our photos from the castles challenge afternoon are on P5G’s page. Sorry they’re not on this one at the moment - Mrs Goodman and I had a few technical difficulties.

JELLY TIME

WE STARTED WITH LOLLYPOP STICKS THEN WE GOT THREE SQUARES OF JELLY.   MRS PETERSON ADDED HOT WATER TO THE JELLY IN THE CUPS.   WE STIRRED  AND STIRRED UNTIL THE JELLY DISAPPEARED.   WE WROTE OUR NAMES ON THE TOP OF THE LOLLYPOP STICKS SO THE TEACHER WOULD KNOW WHICH ONE WAS WHICH.   WE LEFT THEM ON A TRAY AND MRS PETERSON PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE TO SET.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to see us last week for parents consultations. There was a very high turn out from 5PD and many positive comments were made.  If you were not able to come and would like to speak to us, please make an appointment and we will be delighted to see you.  If you feel there was more that you would like to say, please make a second appointment or give us a call after school.

We have started a homework page on the class blog on which we will try to post the homework each week, so that children who forget can remind themselves of what they were supposed to be doing. Homework will be given out on a Monday and is due back by the Thursday, so that we can chase up forgotten jotters by the end of the week.

Today we were wrote storys about The castle ghost. They were really spooky. After everyone was finished we read some aloud. They were really good. If you were reading one you would get really scared.

The majority of our class liked this design of blog best. We hope you like it. I think it’s a bit spooky, but not as creepy as the blue forest one.

Mrs Peterson.

Thanks for your support Bronwyn and Tristan. I think I’ve just accidentally deleted your coments. Oop! Still learning here.

Mrs Peterson.

We have been working hard on our castles topic and made posters about a tournament and recipes for pease pottage. There are some wonderful shields the class have made using symbols from heraldry. There’s lots more to learn.

Well done everone.   A little bit more finishing off and then we’ll have the photos up for you to see.

Do you recognise this one? Of course you do!

Could any class members with a good memory remind me next week to get the class to help me choose a style of blog page for us. Of course I could always choose one myself, but it might be pink. Hmm.
