Busy Bees
P4J have been working very hard this term. They have planned and designed Roman Gladiators and Roman Amphitheatres and then they used their designs to make them into models. We have just had a weeks visit from the Fire Brigade, who highlighted different aspects of fire safety. P4J really enjoyed the hands on experience of the fire engine apparatus and enjoyed climbing inside the fire engine and trying on the helmets and oxygen masks. Their problem solving task for two weeks following our coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer was to design and make a charity box, which had a money slit and could stand. Look at the picture of the finished boxes.
Here are some photos of the children’s work this term and their fire engine experience. Enjoy!
