Minutes of meeting held in the school on Tuesday 8th January 2008
Present Scott Gillies (Chair), Lynne Archibald, Jim Blane, Tracey Jefferies, Angela Kinnear, Tina McAvoy, Jill McCaul, Claire Pedder, Linda Stirling, Gail Walshe
In Attendance Cllr Jim Gillies, Val McIntyre (ELC), Alex Mackay (Clerk)Angus MacRury (Acting Head Teacher)
1. Welcome and Apologies
Scott welcomed everyone to the meeting. Apologies were received from Mark Malcolm, Cllr Ruth Currie and Cllr Donald Grant.
2. Recruitment of new head - Val McIntyre
Linda left the meeting while Val advised the remaining members of the Parent Council of the process for recruiting the new head teacher.
3. Welcome Acting Head and introductions
Everyone introduced themselves to the acting head, Angus MacRury.
4. Photos - Jess Gilmour
Photos were taken of Parent Council members to display at front entrance to school
5. AOCB
The meeting was cut short due to issues with the let/janitor.
