Christmas Craft in October!?!

Thank you to all the parents who attended this afternoons craft session. We were making our own family Christmas cards early so that they are ready for a professional printers to make in to cards.
It was a great afternoon with lots of creative mess.

Learning Stories

Last week every pupil took home their Learning Story for the first time. The pupils have added photographs and personal details to their Learning Stories and have set their first 2 Health and Well Being Targets.

P2 Pirates

This week everyone in Primary 2 has been pretending to be a member of Captain Ross’ Ocean Crew. The boys and girls filled out application forms requesting to be part of a Pirate Adventure.

P2s Georgian House Trip

David: It was really fun because we got to dress up.

P1- 3 VEGINVASION

Primary 1, Primary 2 and Primary 3 will be tasting 16 different vegeatables this week as part of a East Lothian wide project. We hope the children will try out all the vegetables, learn their names then decide on their favourite. All 3 classes will be getting together to talk about which vegetables they enjoyed [...]

P1 and P2 Orienteering

P2’s friend Mr Taffy is missing. He was last seen on the last day of term before Christmas. All the children and Mrs Ross are very concerned about where he might be. He had been invited to spend Christmas helping Santa in Lapland but has not yet returned.

P2s Space Journey Assembly

Thank you to all the parents who attended the assembly. The children worked really hard and I was extremely proud of them.
They have learnt lots during this topic. It was lovely as a teacher to see them all using their skills to pick out new facts from a Library of Space books.

Primary 2s Senses

We have been busy exploring our senses this term. Primary 2 have been inside the classroom and outside in the playgrounds using all our senses to investigate.
We have been: doing experiments, drawing diagrams, writing stories, making mind maps and analysing graphs to find out all about our: sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing.
