P4 Workshops

[ November 13, 2008; 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. November 17, 2008; 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. November 19, 2008; 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. November 21, 2008; 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. ] Primary 4 can look forward to a very busy schedule in November. They are involved in working with a
community artist offering a chance to create pictures around the theme of Health called ‘SeeitBeit’.
(This will take place over 3 sessions on the 17th 19th and 21st of November).

P7 Rugby

[ November 4, 2008; 10:00 am to 10:30 am. ] Rugby is back. The school rugby programme is back for this session. Classes from P4 up to P7 learn
about the skills involved in a fun way. Each class will have a 6 week block followed by a tournament
down at Ross High Club.
P7 starts this coming Tuesday.

BENMORE

Primary 7 are having loads of fun at Benmore Outdoor Education Centre this week.  We arrived safely yesterday (Monday) and quickly started to make new friends from St Martins, Macmerry and Saltoun.

Eco Schools-Rag Bag Appeal

This week was very busy in school as the Primary six and seven pupils along with several members of staff were trained to become Peer Mediators. The staff were very proud of all pupils over the two training days. [...]

Granny and Grandad come to visit!

Primary 3 have had a very interesting afternoon.  We have had a visit from Miss Grierson’s Granny and Grandad so that we could interview them!  We wanted to find out about when Grandad worked in Tynemount mine, what it was like to live through a war and what school used to be like!!!

Christmas Craft in October!?!

Thank you to all the parents who attended this afternoons craft session. We were making our own family Christmas cards early so that they are ready for a professional printers to make in to cards.
It was a great afternoon with lots of creative mess.
