School Fair
Thankyou to all who attended the fair on Saturday. What a fantastic effort by everyone! It’s good to see a comment already about the day. Yes it was a great day and well supported. I know the children enjoyed having the police car, fire engine and army in attendance.

Dates for your diary
[ September 26, 2008; 9:00 am to 10:00 am. ] This term is very busy with a variety of events happening in, out and after school.
Primary seven are having a block of football training in Ormiston Park every Friday till Christmas. They are also lucky enough to be trying out Hockey with two taster sessions.

P2 Police Training
Primary 2 have created a police station in their classroom. They have been finding evidence and taking fingerprints. The children decided what a police station would need and brought some of their own things in to use in their role play. They also made their own Police radios.

Making Letters
Primary 1 are learning lots of new sounds. Today, we learned all about ‘r’ and thought of some things that begin with ‘r’.

Edinburgh Castle Trip
[ September 29, 2008; ] Primary four are definitely looking forward to the class outing to Edinburgh Castle next Monday. We have been working hard learning all about life in a castle in the Middle Ages. Look out for some of our pictures and thoughts as we get to visit places the public don’t normally see!

Autumn Fair
[ September 27, 2008; 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. ] The school fair (which we normally hold in Spring) is almost upon us. There’s still time to hand in any old toys, books, videos, baking, plants, toiletries etc. Hope to see you all on Saturday between 2pm and 4pm even if it’s just to soak the teacher!
