Ormi’s Got Talent!
We were all treated to fantastic perfomances on Thursday as pupils showed us just how talented they are at our end of year talent show. We had dancers, singers, footballers, clappers, recorders, pianists, magicians and a hula-hooper!

Primary five got to organise the Junkyard Angel Fashion Show. The pupils had to apply for jobs like advertisers, decorators, stylist, staging and music and lighting. End of term dates
[ June 26, 2008; 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. June 27, 2008; ] We are looking forward to Ormi’s Got Talent taking place in the school gym next Thursday afternoon.
Auditions will take place in classrooms all next week.
School closes at usual times for all pupils on Friday 27th of June.
The new session for pupils starts on Monday 18th of August.

School walk along the railway
On Friday 20th the school went a walk down the railway. We went in our houses. Cockburn started first then Wishart then Moffat.The big ones had to look after the little children. The walk was long but it was fun.

P1 mini-beasts
Chloe’s mum came into school to help us make some mini-beasts. We then went outside and found some bits and pieces to make the bugs some homes.

This week saw the older group from the Nursery visit the Butterfly Farm near Dalkeith. This trip was very enjoyable as you can see in the photos. The children have been learning about butterflies in school.

Jo Jingles visited Ormiston Nursery this week which was a great success. The nursery children took part in movement and games. This was for the younger group as a special end of session treat.
