Bike Racks
The work is complete and we now have three new bike racks for the children to use. Check out the Pupil Council page to see a picture and find out more.

Ormiston Library
On Wednesday afternoon, Primary 1 went across to the library to see Mr Wilson and Mrs Duncan.
We learned about fiction and non-fiction books then Mr Wilson read us some stories.

P3 Animation Project
The children in primary 3 have recently just completed group projects on creating animated films using 2D models.
You can see this one called The rescue.
They really enjoyed making these films.

Mid-term holiday
[ February 11, 2008 to February 13, 2008. ] School breaks for mid-term holiday on the 8th of February. There is an in service day for Teachers on Wednesday 13th and all pupils return on Thursday the 14th of February.

P4 Drama
[ March 12, 2008; 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. ] P4 will be working with Shona Davidson on Wednesday the 5th of March on an exciting Drama Project.
Dates are also in hand for a project called Strolling on Song. A musician will be coming into school to work with the class over 3/4 weeks. The theme is the environment linked to music.

Nursery Interactive Whiteboard

The Nursery has finally received the much awaited white board and the staff are looking forward to using it with the children.
Take a look at some of the wonderful art work the children have been doing recently for their theme of winter. Definately some artists in the making.
