Fundraising Concert March 8, 2010

A fundraising concert by the Edinburgh choir ‘Cadenza’ will take place on Saturday 13th March at St Andrew Blackadder Church, High Street, North Berwick at 7.30pm.
This highly regarded, 50 strong choir, will be performing works by Vaughan Williams, John Rutter, Duke Ellington and Fats Waller and all proceeds from the evening will go towards the senior pupil visit to Malawi in June.
Tickets, £10 (£4 students) will include interval refreshments and are available from Greens & Blues or the Music Department.

Well done to our U14 boys basketball team who made it through to their Scottish Cup Final. The finals should be taking place on March 25th or 26th.

Surfing 2010 March 4, 2010
Posted by Miss Parry in : Sport , add a commentWe have booked a block of surfing lessons with Coast 2 Coast Surf School. The lessons will run on Monday 31 May, 7 and 14 June from 4.30-6.30pm approx.
The cost of the lessons is £60. This includes minibus transport to and from Belhaven Bay.

We are collecting vouchers for Flip cameras; various items of hardware and software for departments; and equipment to help make our school more green!
Please collect vouchers and hand them in ASAP to the School Office or to the Computing Department. Thanks for your help.
(On March 8th, 9th and 10th Tesco for Schools & Clubs has teamed up exclusively with the Daily Mirror. Each voucher featured in the paper is worth three times the value of a voucher obtained in store! )

The site will mainly be used to showcase work from our students - such as S1 Songs from the Amazon and draft fieldwork out and about in town from our S3s.
