Salut! Both year groups have some important exams coming up… For S3, these may give rise to some class changes as people slot into different places depending on their attitude, ability and effort. For S4, it’s the last “Real Life (TM)” practice before the finals, which will be creeping up soon after the Easter holidays.
Help is at hand!!
Scroll down to the “blogroll” and use everything you can find to give your revision the edge.
* BBC Bitesize has help for French, German and Spanish. Based on the Standard Grade system, it gives really good feedback and can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses.
* MonJTQuotidien is a fabulous resource that allows you to develop your reading and listening skills at the same time as keeping you up to date with current affairs. Probably the best of the lot.
* Linguascope and Linguastars - old favourites. Language is topic-specific and the games are fun. And I know you all love the crab!
* Languagesonline - not as jazzy as linguascope, but top value for practising grammar and topic-specific language. Difficulty increases with these tasks and feedback is immediate. Excellent resource.
Bonne chance! Viel Gluck! Buen suerte!

Salut S3, now we’ve covered perfect tense regular verbs in class, have a look at the answer sheet and see if you can remember how to form the perfect tense with regular verbs. There’s a presentation to help you too. You could even leave it till next term and use it for revision purposes - see if you can get them all right now that you should know the answers!
(PS) To find the answers in the blanks, highlight the blank space and change the font colour from white.

Salut 3X2, here is the powerpoint that we looked at in class about jobs. The vocabulary talks about which job you do, why you like or dislike it, the hours you work and how much you get paid.

Salut! Here are some powerpoints for you, S2, to help with revision for the speaking and listening tests next week. Bonne chance! Also, go into linguascope (you’ll find the link if you scroll down to the “blogroll”) and open “Le Corps” and “Les Douleurs” for some games fun/revision. Obviously, for reasons to do with our subscription contract, I can’t post the username and password, but you should know it by now!
Make sure you’re “au fait” with vocab related to describing your family too (names, ages, appearances - how tall, how short, the tallest, the shortest, taller, shorter - etc.). the vocab for this will be on the photocopied sheet you have for module 3.
Need any help, just ask!
