Aberlady P7 Trip To Benmore May 29, 2008
Posted by Kathy McGrane in : Uncategorized , trackbackAberlady P7 have just returned from Benmore Outdoor Education Centre where they spent a week with P7 pupils from Gullane, Athelstaneford and Dirleton. Everyone had a fantastic time doing some exciting activities and getting to know each other before they become classmates at NBHS. I thought Benmore was a really nice place, with lots of different kinds of scenery. I also loved all the challenges especially the kayaking and the gorge walk, they were so fun (and cold). Claire
I think Benmore is a great way to get to know everybody who will be in our classes at high school.I made lots of new friends and enjoyed doing all the activities there.

Benmore Was so much fun. I met lots of great peopleand made loads of friends. My favourite activity was Gorge Walking.It was great. Everything was fantastic!
We never stopped doing things all day long. The best activity was Kayaking because we got soaked!!!!!

I’m glad I went to Benmore. It was fun. I made two new friends. One of them was from Dirleton called Meg (I got her address) ,and one called Jill from Athelstaneford. They were in my day group.
All of the instructors at Benmore were brilliant and so were the activities .My favourite activity of the week was sailing because it was nerve racking and I like that kind of stuff. Abseiling was the scariest and I know people that really did not like it. I enjoyed my time at Benmore and made loads of friends. If I could go back some time I definitely would but I would bring my dad and grandparents with me because I think they would really enjoy it. Although I got a bit home sick on the first night I overcame it because of the fun.
Benmore was amazing . It was great fun .We did lots of activities.My favourite was abseiling down a cliff. It was so scary but really fun.We all met lots of new friends!!
Benmore was the best experience l have ever had!
It was so fun and everyone met so many new friends,
everyone enjoyed it.
All of the activities were GREAT FUN ,l would go back if l had the choice!

I really enjoyed Benmore.The gorge walk was fun but very wet.It was fantastic and when my group got back to the house we all had a shower.We had our waterproof on which helped us a little to not get wet on the walk!!!
I went abseiling and I was relly proud when I went down the fifty foot rock.
Benmore was the best thing I ever did. The abseiling was the most fun, it was scary though.
I am from Gullane!. we went aswell! it was cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool it was my bday!!!!!!!

hi i am from gullne i realy enjoyed benmore the best part was the gordge walk we got to go for a swim in a deep, deep ,deep puddle the other great part was the disco and the staff were very kind and helpfull i hope that they enjoyed them selfs i did . If i could go back i would
