Mid Calder Yearbook November 7, 2008
Posted by wgordon in : Enterprise, P7 , trackbackWelcome to the Mid Calder Yearbook Blog. It’s a blog for parents and pupils to debate what should appear in the Class of 2009’s books which will be printed and ready before leaving in June. Use it to bounce ideas off each other, put together plans or ideas for what could feature this year - it’s for you, so don’t be shy. We have a basic template from last year which worked well, but the great thing about yearbooks is that they can evolve over time. Post your thoughts, any thoughts, and the outcome will be a yearbook, exactly as you want it!!

I think this is a beautiful thing for our P7s to get. i would love the chance for each child to have 2 or 3 pages of their
own with their own personal thing in it - not sure if there were as many as that last yr or if it was only cover in each which was different- would be good for kids to focus on their highlights/ achievements individually/personally with possibly more photos relevant to them.
I agree, I think this is a good opportunity for children to demonstrate their learning and achievements in their final year at primary. I also think it is an opportunity to talk about their memories, aspects of school that are special to them, their friends. Opportunities to record things in different ways - photos, animations, film, dvds - on the web.
