1. Mrs Wood visits friends in Japan. 2. Sushi is raw fish and a famous Japanese dish. It is served with soy sauce and horseradish. 3. A Buddhist temple in Tokyo. This is a traditional building where people come to pray. 4. Most of the buildings are modern and are skyscrapers. They are made so that they don’t fall down in an earthquake. 5. Japanese Alps near where the Winter Olympics were once held. Australians come here to ski.
Mrs Wood has been teaching her class about Japan. The wall display shows ‘Children’s Day’ .
