Posted by wgordon in : P6 , 3commentsOn Monday, 12th May four children from P6 represented West Lothian in Euro Quiz 2008. The four boys had won the West Lothian round beating some very tough competition.
The final took place in the debating chamber of the Scottish Parliament and twenty-five schools from across Scotland took part. It was a very exciting competition and Mid Calder put up a good fight. There were three rounds and we managed to come as high as third in round 2. Overall we finished fourteenth. The boys enjoyed a pizza and ice-cream at Pizza Italia on the Royal Mile before walking to the Parliament buildings and after the competition there was a reception for all of the children. The boys received a goody bag and will be presented with a certificate next Friday at assembly.
