A group of our S2 pupils are away in France at the moment – they have been up-dating their section of the website with lots of photos and news as they go. It looks like they are having a great time!

We have an extensive extra curricular activities programme at Musselburgh Grammar School. One of the initiatives that has really gathered momentum in the past 18 months is the schools Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme. 2008 Modern Studies New York Trip

A group of Higher Modern Studies Students left for New York today. They will be writing about their experience over on the New York Web page – why don’t you pop in and leave them a comment.
Between preliminary examinations some of our senior pupils visited the Scottish Parliament today to meet our local MSP Kenny MacAskill. Here are some of the photographs from the trip below. The group also recorded the interview and they hope to turn this into a podcast.
Every year we reward S1 pupils with exceptionally high attendance an opportunity to go to the Pantomime at the Brunton Hall. This year we only had an allocation of about 90 seats and as attendance has been so good in S1 we took the pupils where their attendance had been above 99.2%. Next year we have decided [...]
Saturday Skiiing at Braehead

On Saturday Mr Brown took a group of students to the indoor snow zone at Braehead, Xcape in Glasgow. Skiing is a popular extra-curricular activity at Musselburgh Grammar School every term groups of students (and staff) have an opportunity to learn to ski.

National Mace Debating Competition

The Bar National Mock Trial Competition

Duke of Edinburgh Award Presentation Evening
