We are making a Sensory Garden in the area of the school grounds next to the Marsh Garden.  Dave, our janitor, cut old railway sleepers into triangular shapes.  We have been very busy filling the triangles with soil and have been trying to decide what plants to place in each area.  Mrs Robertson, our P3/4 teacher has been a great help.  Leigh Shearer, a countryside Ranger who has helped us in the past, is coming to visit us next week to provide us with more help us to choose suitable plants.  We are looking forward to planting our new garden and hope to make a film showing us doing this next week.  We have been recording the wildlife in the school grounds at different times of day and during different weather conditions in our John Muir record books.dscf2215.jpg  dscf2216.jpg dscf2223.jpgdscf2334.jpg
