We have just acquired two new seats that will help us to enjoy looking at our Marsh Garden.
We had great fun learning a dance routine with Carlos. It took us four weekly sessions to produce this dance.
Our classroom has turned into a museum about World War II. We have acquired ration books,
identity cards, bullets from aircrafts used during the war, photographs of relatives in uniform, a letter describing memories of the war from Aimee’s grandmother, newspapers celebrating the 50th anniversary of VE Day, a certificate given to every school child at the end of the war that states important dates during the war and asks the children to learn from the mistakes made and enjoy their new freedom, a model of a burnt building made by Cameron and his dad , a model of a rifle and a “safe” hand grenade!
We found this website very useful:

Go to “History” and then “London at War 1939-1945.”
