Happy Christmas!
Hello,
We are now in Argentina. It is really hot here because it is Summer and it doesn’t feel at all like December.
We spent a week in the capital, Buenos Aires and even saw the President! We left there to try and find somewhere cooler and travelled to Mendoza where we hired bikes and cycled around, trying lots of tasty wine (not a great combination!).
We are now in the chocolate capital of Argentina, Bariloche (and the chocolate is amazing). It is very beautiful here with sparkling lakes and snow capped mountains. We are going trekking to a glacier tomorrow.
We leave here on Monday to travel right down to the bottom of Argentina to a place called Ushuaia. This is the most southern part of the world that can be visited(discounting the Antarctic). It will be cold there and we’ll be able to see lots of penguins! Hopefully it will feel a bit more like Christmas there.
I won’t be able to get in touch for a while because Ushuaia doesn’t have internet. So…..

Hi Miss Black, today we had our Christmas Party today. We had to make our own paper napkin and placemat, the party was fun, Santa has given us a class present (it was a chocolate santa each) for now and says he will give us another gift by the end of the week.The whole class is really excited! My trip to Lapland has been changed to Sunday 23rd, it will take 3 1/2 hours to get there and we will cross the Artic Circle, the weather here has been freezing -7 degrees, so will get us used to the cold for our trip. When are you going to be in Brazil? I Hope you are feeling good out in that country and are not sick again. The P1 show was Woops daisy angel, I was a snowflake, Ruri and Anna were narrators, Angus was a cow, ,Lucy was an angel, we think Donald was a shepherd (can’t think of anyone else you would know) It’s th last day of school today I’m free free, free, free for 2 weeks! Merry Christmas!(tomorrow)I hope you get lots of nice presents.I went on Santa’s polar express on Sunday.It was fun.I got a unicorn bag.The P1 show was good.Angus was actually a horse.I think Christy got a bit muddled.

Hope you enjoyed your Christmas and your New year.We went to my Grandma and Grandpa’s house for New year.We got wacky string and it went everywhere.For Christmas I got a digital camera,a Squackers macaw,a pink Scrabble set,a pony book,an alarm clock,a jigsaw puzzle,two packets of sweets and chocolates,a little chick that you wind up,a lego dinosaur,a teksta puppy,some secret seven books,an ipod,a speaker for my ipod,
two gift vouchers for my ipod,a bracelet,a I love animals book,mega beads,friend ship bracelets and a colouring book.Did you and Alice exhange presents. Were your family able to send you anything?? If not you will have lots of presents to look forward to when you get home!! LOL Caitlin xxxxxx

Angus went to a party today he won pass the parcel it was a story book.I played Curling with my Dad I am rubbish at it my Dad won both games.My Mum is shopping today.I miss you lots.

For the new year we went to Oslo in Norway. We saw lots of fireworks and it was very exciting. I tried an Oslo prawn, it was very chewy. I had Hot Dogs for the first time.
Did you know Mrs Prentice’s baby is called Holly? She came in to visit us when Holly was only 8 weeks old.
I hope you are having a really good time. Enjoy the flight back. I want to hear all your adventures.
