Christmas Shows

The Calcutta Cup comes to LPS

Sports Development Officer Dougie gave us a once in a lifetime glimpse at the very precious Calcutta Cup, which Scotland won in March this year. The cup is more than 130 years old and priceless! It was a great chance for P5/6, P6/7 and P7 to see a piece of sporting history.

Brilliant P7 Ballet Stars!

Primary six and seven were visited by the wonderful Scottish Ballet. They learned some scenes from the ballet ‘Sleeping Beauty’. Primary seven pupils had this to say about the experience:

Our South African friends!

Desmond and JJ had a wonderful night at our Scottish Evening! They enjoyed both the scottish fare, dancing, poetry and muisc. Thanks to all the parents who organised the event and to everyone who came along on the night.

The Very Successful P7 Autumn Fair

Well done to P7 who raised a huge £618 at the Autumn Fair! Brilliant!
 

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Well done to Primary Four who planned, organised and ran a hugely successful Macmillan Coffee Morning.  They raised a total of £320.56! Each member of the class showed themselves to be very enterprising. Well done P4!

Your new House Captains 2008/2009

Today each house, Charteris, Douglas and Wemyss, voted for their preferred candidates to become House and Vice captains. After listening to many presentations they voted for the people you see below! Well done to everyone who took part!

P7 enjoying Chinese foods!

To round off our topic about China we had a Chinese banquet. We had noodles and stir fryed vegetables with soy sauce, follwed by lychees and a fortune cookie. It was great fun learning to eat with the chopsticks we had decorated!
