Some children went to Strawberry Corner to buy our trees and they have now been decorated. We have been thinking about the very First Christmas when Baby Jesus was born and practicing singing our carols. We look forward to seeing everyone at St. Ninian’s Church on Wednesday 17th December at 11.00am and 2.30pm. We have made our Advent rings and are counting the days until our Christmas parties, on Thursday 18th December at 10.00am and 1.00pm, using our Advent calendars.

Come along, bring your friends, join in the fun and help us raise funds for the nursery. There will be tombola, raffle, homebaking, tea and coffee. Our children have also been busy making Christmas craft items to sell - crackers, tree decorations, tinsel hanging decorations and much more. Any donations for the stalls should be handed in by Friday morning. Look forward to seeing you all then.

The theme was “What would you like to see from your hospital bed?’. Callie painted a strawberry field so she could reach out the window and pick srawberries anytime she was hungry - sounds like a good idea! Both children are invited to the hospital to see their paintings on the wall and collect their prizes. Well done everyone.

Witches flew, goblins ate, spiders spooked and ghosts dooked at the Hallowe’en fun day last Thursday. Adults and children had great fun making pumpkin lanterns, snake nests and magic spells. Spooky tales were told and songs were sung as well as traditional celebrations such as dookin’.
