Posted by jswan in : La France , add a commentDid you know that during the summer in Paris they bring in tons of sand (2,000 to be exact!), palm trees and parasols and they make a beach along the banks of the Seine? Here are some photos (scroll down to Premières chaleurs à Paris Plage).

Schools in France don’t go back until September. Ils ont de la chance! Here is a list of what the Ecole Jean Moulin pupils have to buy to get ready for school! French pupils have to provide their own equipment - folders, paper, glue, what else can you understand? What are they not allowed (interdit!)

The S5 pupils at NBHS have been on a geography trip to the Alps. Les veinards! They have some fantastic photos of the “Mer de Glace” Do you know what that is? They tell you all about it!

The pupils from the Ecole Jean Moulin have worked very hard to learn our song “My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean” and have sung it beautifully! Bravo à tous!

Quelle excitation! We have had lots of French visitors with us recently. The P5s at Law have a class link with a school in Nanteuil. They really enjoyed their visit from them and Aberlady Primary had French visitors as well! On a fait un quiz ensemble, on a dansé et on s’est bien amusés!
