Posted by Law Upper in : P7, visits , trackbackAs part of Health Week, the P7s visited Edinburgh’s Risk Factory where they worked through several safety scenarios. As well as being a lot of fun, everyone learned valuable lessons about how to stay safe both in and out of the home.
Your homework task is to record the THREE most important safety lessons you learned from your visit. Remember to give your first name and class. Make sure your writing is appropriate and of a high standard!

the risk factory was the best trip yet i learnt loads here are three things i learnt
1. That electricity can jump 3m!

I loved the risk factory!
I learned that:
1. Always lock doors otherwise anyone can jut walk in.
2. Never go back into a burning building.
2. Building sites can be really dangerous.
The risk factory was the best
1. ALWAYS rememeber to lock the doors or a stranger could just walk in.
2.NEVER give out personal details to a stranger on the internet.
£.If a stranger asks you to o something dont do it or they could do anything to you.
I thought the Risk Factory was great !!!
I learn’t:
1. stay in a place that is light
2. switch off all mains when out or asleep
3. wear bright clothes
I think the risk factory was fab but scary.
3 facts i learned
1.DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOORS OPEN SO A PERSON CAN JUST COME IN.
2.Do not leave dangerous things around your house.
3.Never play in dangerous places.
I got terrified in the Risk Factory but it was great!
Three things I learned were:
1:What it’s like to about to be run over by a train
2:Always lock doors even in the house
3:Real life is scary!
The risk factory was great. Here 3 things i learnt.
1. Lock doors even if your inside because any one could walk in.
2. Electricity can jump 3 metres.
3. Building sites are very dangerous.
3 things i learned at the risk factory were

3. dont walk in to a burning house.
The Risk Factory was great fun but i also learned loads here are 3 things that i learnt…
1Always lock your Doors even when you are in the house because somone could easily just walk in.
2 Always wear bright reflective clothes at night and during the day if you are on your bike or just playing outside.
3.Never give personal details out on the internet because anyone could get hold of them.

1. Never be pressured into going on the railway.
2. Don’t go out with out telling your parents were you are going.

On Wednesday,3rd of September 2008 myself,my classmates and my teacher went the Risk Factory in Edinburgh.The three most important lessons that i learnt were:
-Never leave your doors open at daytime not just nightime,as robbers and sex offenders could walk in at anytime!
-Never play on a train tracks or go and get a lost ball,as trains travel at high speeds and you have a 99 percent of being hit!
-Don’t go into a dark alley way as you don’t know who’s lurcking around in there,allways call a parent and ask them to pick you up!
Three things i learned at the risk factory were:
1. Never go into a burning builday
2. Don’t go on your bike without your helmet
3. Always lock any doors in your house even if you are in

3.Never go near electricity cables because can jump 3 metres.

3.Building areas are really dangerous, never play on them.

The rick factory was amazing i really enjoyed it but it was a bit scary at some points the three things i learnt where:

At the Risk factory the facts I learned were:
1. If an object goes in a transformer never go and get it always read the sign on the fence and call the phone number.
2. If a kite or an object gets on a powerline never go and get it because the electricity paces through the kite into you.
3. Always close and lock the gates or doors you go in and out of, so that nobody can just walk in your house.
At the risk factory I learned that..
~You should ALWAYS lock your doors,
~NEVER play around at railways,
~ALWAYS tell your mum and dad if you are going out or where you are going
The risk factory was amazing!
I thought the Risk Factory was amazing!
The three things I learned were:
1.Never go on the railways.
2.Always have your door locked when your on your own.
3.Don’t go on your bike without a helmet.
At the Risk Factory i learned that;
1. Always lock doors or gates behind you so that nobody can just come in and burgle you.
2. If you get burgled NEVER follow the burgler, insted just call 999. Things can be replaced but you can’t!!
3. Never go to retrieve lost objects from a railway line because you have a 99% chance of being hit.
The Risk Factory was great! But the burglar scared the living daylights out of me!!The three things I learnt where:
1.Wear reflective clothing when you are cycling.
2ALWAYS LOCK YOUR DOOR even if there is somebody home because you probably won’t be able to deffend yourself.
3.Never panic when there is a fire and phone the police but never forget to save your granny!
The Risk factory was so fun and i learnt
1.Never go into a buring building
2.Ceap off the railway
3.never go deap into the sea with a dingy
The Risk factory was very educational and the three saftey points were
1.The factory tells you about accidents that could happen at any time.
2.It tells you about things you should’nt do ect. go on train tracks.
3.The last thing is that you should’nt disturb your local bus drivers
The Risk Factory was great! 3 things I learned were…
1. Never ever leave a door unlocked when you are on your own in your house because anyone can just walk in and you cant stop them!
2. Always avoid taking shortcuts down dark alleyways and places you dont know, anyone could be down there!
3. If there is a fire, exit the room quickly but remember to take your granny with you, dont go back in for her!

2. Don’t need your mobile phone recharging overnight because the back of the phone gets very hot and can easily catch fire.
3. Always wear a reflective jacket while cycling and look where you are going.
I really enjoyed the Risk Factory. I learnt lots of things of things today and three of them are:-
1. Always tell your mum & dad where you are going - even if you know the person!
2. Don’t vandalise things as someone might need them in an emergency!
3. If your mobile phone or something fell onto the railway track never try to retrieve it. A mobile costs a lot less than a life!
