Sensational Skipping June 2, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P7 , trackbackWell done to some of 7C who on Monday 2nd June beat their previous Keep the Pot Boiling record (224). After a few attempts, they managed 243 skips in a ‘knock-out’ round. Thanks to Gareth and Mrs Gilkison who turned the rope (very tiring with such good skippers!) and well done to: Josie, Briony, Jane, Clara, Harriet, Ewan, Nathan, Ethan, Max, Tim and Oscar.

I was one of them and some of the other classes don’t believe that we got that many skips in a row but it is true good luck beating our records. It was really fun and I hope that we keep up the good skipping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I was one of the skippers and it was really fun. I can’t believe that we got so many skips. Skipping is a great way to keep fit and have fun.

BRING IT ON !!!
I am a teacher at a small rural school where we have just completed a skipathon and have been learning double dutch and some long rope songs. We are really interested in your skipping challenge. Could you tell me more about it please? I would like to introduce something like that with the children I teach.
Welldone to 7C who have the reccord for the most keep the pot boiling. My class (7D) keep trying to beat you but we can’t seem to get past 60! Skipping is really fun and is great way to exercise. To anyone who hasn’t tried doing skipping, give it a go it is reall really fun!
