Many thanks to Holly, Lucy and Isla (P6A). The girls decided that they would like to raise some additional money to support the school in Rwanda, recently visited by PC Walker. The girls produced their own homebaking, sold their delicacies around the town and managed to raise £150. Congratulations and many thanks as your money will really be appreciated.

P7 have been considering the impact that building 500 houses on the Whiskey Bottle would have on the area itself as well as the town of North Berwick in general. We have had lots of different issues to consider and discuss before making a judgement on whether as a Planning Officer we would allow such a development to take place. Here are our views.

P7s present ‘Rivers of the World’ June 4, 2008
Posted by sallan in : Uncategorized , 7commentsAll the P7s have been working hard in small groups over the last week to prepare presentations on some interesting World Rivers. Each class had a different river to research, P7A had the Danube, P7B had the Nile, P7C had the Mississippi and P7D had the Angara. Each class chose the best 4 groups from their class to go to the other classes today and tell everyone about each river. Everyone, including the teachers, really enjoyed all the presentations and we all learned lots of new things. We all agreed that it was a great way to learn and share information.
