Wildlife Safari on Astroturf February 8, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : P6 , trackbackP6 Pupils from the North Berwick cluster took part in a Hockey Festival on Wednesday 6th February. The children were organised into teams of 5, playing 8 minute games on 6 short pitches on the Astroturf. Exotic animal names eg. penguins, antelopes, ‘roos and sharks were the theme for the team names. The games were fast and furious with lots of goals. It was a great opportunity for the children to mix with others from the cluster schools and lots of new friendships were formed. Although a very cold day, the sun shone and everyone had a great time.
