`Tis the Season to think about others… December 18, 2007
Posted by smacniven in : P7, Term 2 2007 , trackbackPrimary 7 pupils have been thinking about what it would be like to be homeless in Scotland and other countries. We had lots of discussions about our views at the start of this unit and how they have changed, including the many myths and facts around about being homeless and the fact that it could happen to anyone at any time!
They had a look at the Bethany Trust website and listened to a very thought provoking song, before putting their feelings and ideas down into poetry which they will post here.

Anyone could become homeless! ven the teachers!!!!!!!!!!!
learning about homeless people was fun i really took it into account and am now thinking about helping bethany and lots of other homelless trusts to.I liked how we learnt about it at christmas time because it made us think about what it is like to be on the street for christmas. The church i go to also do a lot about about the bethany and the care van.some people even go to help out over night at the bethany serving food and helping people who are hurt or deprest or sad.
it shows us anyone could be holless and that we are all very greatful for what we have and what we got for christmas and that homelless people where happy for breakfast as a christmas present.
