What Talent! December 10, 2007
Posted by smacniven in : Term 2 2007, events , trackbackX factor came to the Upper Area today. On Friday P7 had their annual Talent Show to celebrate all the skills and achievements of the pupils. Everyone had a wonderful time and were amazed by the variety of performances they saw which included:
Singing, choreographed dance routines, playing instruments - saxophone, piano and guitar. Demonstrations of football and martial arts skills. Comedy sketches which had everyone in stitches. Juggling and even someone performing on stilts!
The ” Ant and Dec” style comedy sketch won first prize, second was a piano playing marvel, playing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer..twice! and third equal, were four dancers and two boys dressed as girls performing “Barbie Girl”.
Well Done to all the pupils who took part. You go P7!!

I really enjoyed doing the talent show. I played piano and I was quite nervous but I didit with no mistakes!

The talent show was a lot of fun.I was an interveiwer on Law News Channel.My main storys were `the p1 pupils have seen a unicorn.` and `do you think pushing should be band in the lunch line?` I was quite nervous but I think it went well.I liked watching all the other acts.
The talent show was great and a lot of fun! I really enjoyed doing my comedy sketch with Megan and Natalia. I thought that all the performances were great but one of my favourites was Amy walking on stilts. I was really nervous but i can’t belive we won!
The talent show was really fun an we won!!! I got quite nervous and I got a bit mixed up on the day. We spent ages practicing and making props. I also really liked the boys who dressed up as girls and Amy on stilts.
The talent shhow was great fun ! Me and 2 of my friends spent alot of time practicing a dance but it diddnt go to well on the day ! It was good to see everybody elses talent and it felt good to show mine and my friends ! Well done to everybody who took part and thank you to the audience ! thanx xxx
The talent show was really fun.I did a dance with my two best friends.
We did it to the song hey mickey.It was really nerve racking.The hosts were really funny.I liked Amy on her stilts and Ethan doing his taekwondo.Well done to all the people who entered.
I did not do the talent show but I thought it was fantastic.Hopefully it gave the teachers a good idea for the musical.I really enjoyed the BOYS DRESSED UP AS GIRLS and singing Barbie girl and making us all laugh.
The talent show was really fun everyone enjoyed seeing everyones talent and doing their own preformance. My act was a dance to mickey with Eilidh and Holly. It was so fun good luck to the new p7’s.

The talent show was amazing!!! Eveyone was so good. Some of my best friends came 3rd but I also liked Amy on her stilts. And it was really funny to watch the boys dress up as girls!!! WELLDONE EVERYONE!
I was in it and I came in joint 3rd I was singing “i’m a barbie girl” I had a great time. Once I got of the stage I wanted to go back up. Me and Jack Hall were really proud of ourselves.
The talent show was great and there was a lot of unusual acts like boys dressing up as girls. I played the guitar and I practiced for a long time. Well done to everyone that had the courage to do a talent in front of the whole P7.
The talent show was really fun I really enjoyed watching all the acts. I also did my bit because i played the piano. It really got us thinking what it will be like in our musical
I really enjoyed the Talent Show. I did an act with a few other people dancing to the crazy frog. I really enjoyed Jack and Finlay dressing up as girls and singing Barbie Girl it was very funny. Well done to everyone who entered.

The talent show was brilliant…we liked the comedy with Natalia, Harriet and Megan! But we liked everyone else as well.
I really liked the talent show because I took part by dancing and my group came 3rd!I I really liked Megan, Natalia and Harriet because they were very funny with there comedy act.
Oh My God! The talent show was SO amazing..I loved it!!!
I danced with luc,Chloe and kat!We came 3rd and it was a really great experience. Dancing is my passion in life. I also enjoy singing so am hoping to get a main part in the musical(If im brave enough)

I thought that the talent show was so amazing and I really liked Natalia,Harrit and Megans was really good but well done to everyone that took part in the talent show !!!
