P7B Song Writing Debut! November 13, 2007

Recently we have had an Anti Bullying focus in school. P7B did a fabulous assembly to get this message across. They also wanted to write a song so Mrs Lima worked with a group of children playing their own instruments e.g guitars and the clarinet. The class then worked together to come up with a tune and song lyrics and here is the result. What a team! All P7`s sang together to produce this recording. They are very proud of it. What do you think?

I thought it was amazing how a p7 class could write such a good song for all of p7 classes to sing ! It was fun recording the song and i thought the musicans were really good ! cherio !
The anti-bullying song was really cool. My favourite bit was the middle with the saxaphone. I liked the lyrics too. I can’t get it out of my head now. WEll DONE 7B!!!
The song is very catchy and it only took 1 hour to write and compose. It was mostly the children who made the song.
I think the song is really cool! Its got really good lyrics and a catchy tune. I hope we get to do more things like this in the future.

I thought that it was really amazing how P7B made up such a great song in just one hour. i really enjoyed singing the song and the band did great.
I think that the song was really good and it was amazing that 7D could come up with such a good song and tune in an hour.
I realy enjoyed playing the Piano in the assembly, i felt the song was great as well. I can’t wait to play the song again and thankyou Mrs Lima for all the effert you put in.(Giving up your time).

I thought the song went really well and everyone loved it.The song writing club were really clever and were able to come up with a song and a tune within an hour.All the instrument players were brilliant aswell.
I thought that the song group did really well to come up with such a good song.We I first heard the song I knew that it would be a succses in the assembily.
I thought our song was really good and everyone put alot of effert in.I think also all of the p7’s sang excellent at our singing practise. And i think if it wasn’t for everyone our song wouldn’t of been complete.ALSO a big THANK YOU too our teacher Mrs Lima who took time after school to make up the song with the song writing group they ONLY had an hour to make it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The songwriting group did a great job with our assembly song, it sounded great with the music as well! The whole class sounded good but when the whole year sang it was great! I can’t wait untill we get to perform it for other schools. Welldone to everybody in the songwriting group, musicians and also to Mrs.Lima for organising the whole thing in the first place!

I really liked the anti-bullying song that 7b wrote and I enjoyed recording it.
I really enjoyed doing the anti-bullying song that p7b wrote because i liked the tune and recording it was good too!

I thought it was really fun making up our own song. The song writing club taught us the song the day after in class. Then we did our assembley with our song in it. The P7s liked it so much we sang it altogether and then we put it on the weblog.
