Posted by smacniven in : Term 1 2007/08 , trackback
All staff and pupils at Law will be getting their thinking caps on and creative juices will be gushing, as they come up with ideas to raise money in support ofthe Farm Africa project. (click for more info.) So watch this space for all the goings on and updates from the children.![]()
P7 have will have quite a week including:
- Creating an innovative and creative design for a welly boot using a variety of techniques and materials which show the significance of the Farm Africa organisation and what it stands for. This will be a group activity and the most thought provoking designs will be enlarged and displayed at the whole school assembly at the end of the week.
- All pupils will also be involved in researching the Farm Africa project so they know why we are supporting it.
- A welly chucking event that will cost £1.00 for 3 throws. Who will be the P7 welly chucking champion ?
- A most outrageous welly wearing fashion parade in which all pupils and staff will make a donation to take part and a winner will be chosen.
- A whole school assembly which will highlight the work of the Farm Africa organisation and all the whacky welly activities that have taken place to raise money. All generous donations will be collected in some extra special wellies and handed over at the assembly. So get your wellies at the ready, dates to follow!

That looks really good and i am sure we will all have fun ! I love colourful wellies and love the idea off designing your own ! And I can’t wait till the whole school assembly because it is always a good sight to see everyone in the same school in the one hall.
This is a really good idea for what sounds like a really good cause.
