The Big Sing! December 16, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : Uncategorized , 5commentsOn Thursday the 18th of December the whole school are having a big sing. They will be singing some of their favourite Christmas songs. All of the children have been asked to bring a small donation of about 50p/£1 to go towards the Music Therapy Fund in North Berwick. Please help us by supporting this very worthwhile cause. Upper Area Christmas Service! December 11, 2008
Posted by Law Upper in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so farOn Friday the 19th of December the Upper area are doing a Christmas Service in the St Andrews Blackadder Church. It starts at 9:15am and the orchestra have to get dropped off at St Andrews Blackadder church by 8:45am. Parents can come to watch or some may be walking the classes down to the church. All the Upper area are singing various songs eg. traditional, new songs. The people watching can join in some songs.

P6 Christmas Party!! December 4, 2008
Posted by sallan in : Uncategorized , 5commentsDuring the Chistmas party the dances that we did were the Flying Scotsman, Dashing White Sergeant, Gay Gordons and the Canadina Barn Dance. Pictures to follow.
REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!! To bring party clothes and yummy food to share with your friends. Just to remind all the p6s that the christmas party is on Monday the 8th in the afternoon.

They do it all the time like its their jobs,
It used to be me yes me weak old John.
You know its not all fun being a bully,
Everyone hates you,
You don’t actually get respect,
Your not really cool.
There is a bully at the school I go to,
He’s never happy,
His voice is strong and makes me scared,
Why dosn’t he pick on someone else,
But just not me.
Theres no person in the world cooler than me,
I’m strong person,
and everyone in my year are all friends with me,
These people I so call bully , are all babys,
Everyone likes me when I do things outside,
Like beat up mini kids.
I don’t like being bullied,
It makes me really sad,
I don’t know why they do it,
Because I think its bad.
I’m the much better one,
Tougher than all of them,
Their just little scardies,
And I’m like a bunch of men.
He did it again,
Tom poked, punched and pinched me,
I am sore all over,
I am not going to school tomorow.
Today I bullied a girl called Beth,
I told her not to tell anyone,
But she probaly has,
All my mates laughed,
I giggled too,
I wish I hadn’t done it now.
I don’t like going to school anymore,
There is a boy in my class called Steve,
He bullies me,
He kicks and punches me,
He hurts my feelings and won’t leave me alone,
I don’t want to tell anyone,
Steve might get me again.
I bullied Sally at school today,
I didn’t want to but I thought it would put my problems to one side,
But it hasn’t,
I feel terrible now and I don’t know how I’m going to face school tomorow.
I don’t want to go to school this morning,
I’m to scared,
Tommy McKdougle keeps shoving me and threatning me,
His friends Jim , Callum and Jake keep stealing my dinner money so I am starving,
No! I can’t go to school,
Mum I feel sick!

It’s boring,
All we do is work,
It’s much better down the high street,
And what if that niny tells on me,
I know, I’ll scive,
I don’t want to go to school,

Sophie wins festive bus timetable art competiton December 2, 2008

Sophie P6c entered a First Bus competition along with lots of other pupils from other schools over central and eastern Scotland. The were over 850 pupils competing in the First Bus Chirstmas time table competition. There was also a MSP Christmas card competiton but we haven’t found out the results.
Well done to everyone who took part .Well done Sophie for being the overall winner.
